St. Michael the Archangel Church Wedding & Château Joli Venue

Diane & Brandon’s wedding day started with a little bit of uncertainty. As the morning began, rain moved through the area, and we were all hoping the weather would clear up for their special day. Thankfully, their ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Michael the Archangel Church, which made the rainy morning feel even more meaningful and peaceful.

Although the rain wasn’t heavy, we wanted to be extra careful with Diane’s beautiful wedding dress. I spent most of the morning photographing inside the church and making sure her dress stayed as perfect as possible. Looking back, I think the rain added a unique atmosphere to the beginning of their wedding story.

After the ceremony, everyone headed to Château Joli Venue for the reception. And then, almost like a little wedding miracle, the rain completely stopped. The timing could not have been more perfect. The rest of the day opened up for portraits, celebrations, and a night full of unforgettable moments.

From the moment I met Diane & Brandon, I could feel how much joy they brought to everyone around them. They were such a fun and energetic Vietnamese couple, and their personalities made this 12-hour wedding day feel effortless. Even after photographing from morning until night, it never felt exhausting because their happiness was truly contagious.

Every part of their wedding portraits was a joy to photograph. Diane looked absolutely stunning in her dress, and Brandon’s excitement and love for her were visible throughout the entire day. Their connection made every image feel natural and genuine.

One of my favorite parts of the entire wedding was the dance party. The energy in the room was incredible, and everyone celebrated as if the night would never end. To make the night even more memorable, an In-N-Out truck arrived as a late-night snack surprise. Seeing all the guests enjoying fresh burgers together created such a fun and unforgettable atmosphere.

My favorite image from the entire wedding day was actually taken right in front of the In-N-Out truck. Seeing Diane & Brandon holding their burgers, smiling, and enjoying that moment together perfectly captured who they are as a couple — joyful, playful, and full of life.

This was also my first time photographing at Château Joli Venue, and I was truly impressed by the space. The venue is incredibly large, elegant, and offers so many beautiful areas for wedding photography. From the reception space to the surrounding areas, it was a wonderful place to celebrate such a special day.

Diane & Brandon’s wedding reminded me why I love photographing weddings. It is not just about the beautiful details or the perfect portraits. It is about capturing the laughter, the unexpected moments, and the memories that couples will carry with them forever.
